My internship at DTSE CZ: Fabienne's experience

Tell us something about you, who are you?
Hi everyone, my name is Fabienne, I'm 20 years old, and I'm studying business administration at Deutsche Telekom AG. 
In my free time I like to spend time with our family dog Picco, my horse Perla or enjoy a good book with tea and something sweet.

Why did you apply for an internship at DTSE CZ, and what were your expectations? 
I normally work in business sales in Munich (Germany) and had the opportunity to do an internship abroad as part of my dual studies at Deutsche Telekom AG. 
My expectations for the internship were to improve my English, to get to know a different (corporate) culture, and to further train and expand my skills in a different direction. 

How did the internship go, and what was the content? 
During my time in the HR department of DTSE CZ, I was able to get a taste of the different areas. 
I was allowed to help with organizational tasks such as drawing up contracts or organizing onboarding for the new employees. 
On top of that, I had the chance to get into a topic that was completely unknown to me before, namely active searching, and to gain new experience there. 
Furthermore, I was allowed to participate in job interviews, which gave me a great insight into another part of the HR department. 

How did you like our company? Could you describe our company's culture and atmosphere? 
I felt very comfortable at DTSE CZ from day 1. The warm, open and familiar atmosphere made it very easy for me to get started and made me wistful that it was already over. 
Through various activities that were organized during my time at DTSE CZ, I was able to get to know not only the people from the HR department better, but also colleagues from other departments.

What do you take away from your internship, and what would you like to do in the future? 
I will definitely leave these 5 intensive weeks of my internship with a lot of experience, new contacts and more self-confidence. 
My time at DTSE CZ has strengthened my desire to develop further in the field of HR after completing my bachelor's degree at Deutsche Telekom AG. 

Would you recommend a similar experience to other students? Why?
I can only recommend everyone to take the opportunity to do an internship at DTSE CZ. 
You can not only broaden your professional skills, but also make contacts and be an active part of the team.
