Privacy Policy

1. General information
Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Czech Republic s.r.o., identification no.: 05507278, registered office: Holandská 859/3, Štýřice, 639 00 Brno, registered in the Commercial Register of the Regional Court in Brno, section C, file 95784, e-mail: recruiting@dtse.cz (hereinafter also referred to as “DTSE CZ”) as controller of your personal data as user of DTSE CZ websites https://www.dtse.cz/ and job applicants informs you about important aspects of processing your data. DTSE CZ attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. We always inform you about personal data that we process in connection with your visit to our websites and participate in our recruiting process, how it is used, and how you can influence the process. This data privacy information provides answers to the most important questions. Our pages are not intended for children under the age of 16 years and we do not process data of children under the age of 16 years.

2. What data is processed (extent), why and how is it used (purpose) and on what basis (lawfulness)? 
For the answer to your query or job application:
We use our personal data to get back to you based on your original contact via our contact form or contact information provided on our website, mostly to react to your queries (based on our legal duties, if we are obliged to answer you, or our legitimate interest to maintain good relationships with the public, if there is no legal obligation for us to answer) and job applications (based on our legitimate interest to select the most suitable candidates for positions advertised on our websites).  
The scope of your data, we process, is mainly set by you, by the data you provide to us. Usually, these are your first name and surname, e-mail address, the address of residence, contact address or registered seat in case of a legal entity, identification number or date of birth and phone number. In case of a job application, we will process all data you will provide to us in your CV and cover letter and data that you will provide to us later during the recruiting process, e.g. data about your education, work experiences, skills, interests, and references. Furthermore, we can process data you provided publicly about yourself for professional purposes, such as your LinkedIn profile. We use your personal email adress to set up an account for you in our onboarding app after the possible acceptance of job proposal. You have no legal obligation to provide your data to us or participate in the recruiting process, however, if you do not provide your data to us, we may be unfortunately not able to provide you answer to your query or include you in our recruiting process.

Cookies: Our website www.dtse.cz use exclusively cookies of third-party - Google Analytics. These are small text files that are stored on your computer. They enable the system to tell if you repeatedly visit websites from the same computer. You could grant a consent with the use of cookies when entering our website, in case you did not granted consent, cookies are not used. The content of cookies is under control of the third party. 3. Where is my data processed and for how long?
Your data related to the application process will be stored in EU for the period of 3 years after the end of our communication or the recruiting process. 

4. How secure is my data?
We have taken extensive technical and operational precautions in accordance with law to protect your data against unauthorized access and misuse. Your data will not be subject to automatic decision-making, including profiling.

5. Will my data be passed on to other entities?
For the answer to your query or during the recruiting process your data will be processed by DTSE CZ employees both in electronic and paper form and can be shared with other companies within the Deutsche Telekom AG Group and affiliate companies, exclusively within EU. List of these companies can be found at https://www.telekom.com/en/company/worldwide. Due to the nature of the positions we are filling and international collaboration within the group, Deutsche Telekom AG Group employees can even participate in the recruiting process.
Your data can be also passed to providers of server, web and IT services as processors: Simplo s.r.o., LMC s.r.o.
In certain cases, we are legally obliged to pass on data if requested to do so by a state body. 
We do not pass on your data to third parties for any other purpose unless you have given express permission.

6. Data control with the social media plug-ins used
Our website includes buttons for social media networks (Facebook Share button, Google +1, Twitter Share button, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram etc.) that you can use to recommend DTSE CZ to your friends and family. The exchange of data is not activated until you click the buttons, which loads the respective social media plug-ins. An action (such as liking the page) is not activated until you click a second time.
When the social media plug-in is activated, the following data can be forwarded to the social media provider: IP address, browser information, operating system, screen resolution, installed browser plugins (such as Adobe Flash Player), origin of the visitor if you followed a link (referrer), URL of the current web page. The next time you visit the website, the social media plug-ins are again provided in the default disabled mode, thus ensuring that no data is transferred during a repeat visit to the website. 

7. What are my rights regarding my data being processed?
Regarding our processing of your data you have following rights. You can exercise all your rights by contacting us on e-mail address recruiting@dtse.cz or our Data Privacy Officer, Jakub Mišinger, at our registered office on aforementioned address or e-mail: FMB_DTSE_CZ_Compliance_Data_Privacy_Security01@telekom.com. You can also lodge a complaint.


The right of access. You are at any time entitled to lodge a written request to receive information, whether we process any of your data and if we do, what data we have about you, the processing purpose, the recipients to whom the data have been or will be disclosed, for how long we will process the data, its origin and about all of the rights mentioned in this point. You can also ask, whether your data is subject to automatic decision-making, including profiling. You are also entitled to receive copy of your data.


The right to rectification. At any time, you may request incorrect or incomplete personal data about you rectified by us. If you become aware that there are errors in the data we have registered for you, please contact us.
The right to deletion. You have a right to have your personal data deleted by us if (i) we no longer have a valid processing purpose, (ii) processing is unlawful, (iii) you object to our processing of your data and we have no legitimate interest prevailing to further processing, (iv) there is legal obligation to delete your data or (v) you withdraw your consent. If we can prove compelling legitimate interest for continued processing which precedes your interests, rights, and freedoms or the processing is necessary for a legal claim to be established, exercised or defended, we are not obliged to delete your personal data.


The right to restrict processing. You have a right to restrict our processing of your personal data, e.g. if you contest the accuracy of your personal data. Until we will solve any questionable issues of processing of your data we cannot process our data except for its storage or we can use your data with your expressed consent or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.


The right to object. You are at any time entitled to object to our processing of your personal data if the processing is based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. If you object to the processing based on our legitimate interest, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate reasons for continued processing which precede your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. We will inform you about the outcome of your objection after its evaluation, for the period of evaluation the processing will be restricted. If you object to processing based on direct marketing, we will no longer process your data.
