Can you tell us more about yourself? 
As one of my colleagues said … “I am an unstoppable mother of 3 little male devils”… that is my main role. Besides that, I am people’s person. Although I studied economy, my life journey took me to customer service, hospitality business and people’s management. Currently I study Psychology for managers, and I would like to go this direction in my future. 

Can you tell us a bit about your career journey within DTSE CZ?
I started working at DTSE CZ after quite a long maternity leave and I was kind of scared how I will balance motherhood and my career. My only work experience was from abroad, I was working for 8 years in the USA.  My last company’s culture and my former team were great, and I was worried I would never find anything similar here. In the end, DTSE CZ exceeded my expectations tremendously. Best team, best boss I could ever wish for. They helped me with my transition, and I took part in many different projects. Currently, my main responsibilities include Office Management, Procurement, and support for colleagues from communication team with CSR activities and events.

How was your first year with the company? How did you navigate through Covid?
I joined the company only a few months before Covid started. The pace was very fast, busy and I enjoyed being at the office full of such great people. Then Covid hit and we were forced to stay home. It was a very challenging time. I worked full time and had 3 small kids homeschooling, teaching them and cooking for them. Luckily, we had flexible working hours, thanks to that I was able to manage it all.

What’s the most unique part about working with DTSE CZ? 
I would say the company culture which is based on trust and genuine interest in people. That’s what's unique for me. My team members and I are friends. I enjoy their company very much. I appreciate their opinion, their knowledge and feedback. We joke all the time. We trust each other. We feel safe here. We support each other. ♥

How do you balance work and personal life as a mom of three little boys?
The boys are getting more and more independent, so I have more time for my development now. We have fixed schedule, and we plan ahead. I also have my husband and family that support me whenever I need. 

How do you spend your time outside of work?
I love people and their company, listening to their stories, spending time with them. To relax I enjoy long walks in the nature, exercising and I love sunny days.

If you had to create a slogan for your life, what would it be?
In professional life... Often, being told what you don’t want to hear is more valuable than what you do. And it is valid for my personal life as well. Besides this, I often remind myself that if I want to change anything I need start with the person in the mirror. To help me get through tough times I try to see the good in people and in the situations in my life. I try not to dwell on the negative things and don’t ruminate. Take lessons from my mistakes or failures and go on. If I had to make a slogan i guess it would be: “Start from within, be tolerant, don’t dwell and move on!”
