My path to DTSE - Olga

21.5.2021

Stories from colleagues, how they got to our company, how the recruiting process went, and even some tips on how to prepare for interviews.

What’s your role at DTSE?

I am an Asset Closing Senior Expert in the Accounting department, more particularly in the Asset Accounting Team. My major responsibilities are the development and improvement of the process of closing assets in cooperation with the team  and our customers. At the beginning, one of my most important tasks is to understand the processes of the DTSE environment.

Why did you decide to apply for DTSE?

I was looking for an opportunity to work in an international company within Europe and gain new experience not only in the accounting field.

Hence Deutsche Telekom Services Europe was a perfect choice, as there I can improve my accounting knowledge and skills and be a part of different digitalization projects for process improvements.

How did the application and interview process go for you?

The application and interview process was very smooth and quick. After I applied for the position and sent my CV, I received confirmation and then after few days an invitation for the first interview, where we discussed my previous experience, skills, and expectations from the new position.

On the second interview, I met German colleagues and managers. As the entire process was virtual, I was a little nervous, but everything was well organized and went smoothly.

What do you wish you’d known when you started the process?

Before I started the process, I could find a lot of information about DTSE on the internet and social media and it helped me a lot during the interview.

How did the virtual onboarding process go for you?

Virtual Onboarding is very well organized, and my colleagues are very nice and helpful. I can reach my teammates or colleagues from another department through WebEx for questions I have, and they can easily share with me their screens when we are going through working instructions, presentations, and manuals.

From a working point of view, I don’t feel any limitation of virtual Onboarding, but I’m looking forward to meeting my teammates and colleagues personally.
